Connectors

Established in 1932 as a manufacturer of precision screw machine parts, by 1942 Honda had entered into the Telecommunications market by manufacturing plugs and Patch Cords for telephone switch boards. In 1947 the company was re-established as a full line connector company; developing and designing products for the computer, telecommunications, and instrumentation markets. Today our company offers over 40 connector product lines and specializes in a wide range of cable assembly technologies.

Some of our more popular lines include:

  • PCMCIA I/O INTERFACE CONNECTORS AND ASSEMBLIES FOR LAN AND MODEM
  • PCMCIA HEADERS AND PC CONNECTORS AND FRAME KITS
  • HIGH DENSITY 50 MIL (0.50" PITCH) CONNECTORS FOR SCSI 2 AND 3
  • 0.8MM I/0 CONNECTORS FOR THE NEW VHDCI TECHNOLOGY FOR PCI APPLICATION
  • FIBER OPTIC CONNECTORS AND ASSEMBLIES
  • PCB STACKING CONNECTORS
  • 2MM CONNECTORS AND HEADERS
  • CO-AXIAL SMA AND SMB CONNECTORS
  • TERMINATORS
  • INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION CONNECTORS AND ASSEMBLIES
  • HIGH SPEED TRANSMISSION CABLE ASSEMBLIES

From CAD design to finished product we are commited to providing standard as well as customized design solutions for any application your company needs. Our facilities strategically located in the United States, Europe, Asia and Mexico are ready to serve you.

SPCI

"S" for small PCI is a new standard for Peripheral Components Interconnect. This 108 Position Right Angle Connector on 0.8 mm contact Centerline spacing allows you to add SPCI expansion slots in packages too small for standard PCI connectors and cards.

VHDCI

The next generation of High Density Connectors on .8mm (.031 inch) centerline spacing are now available. Identified by the acronym VHDCI (Very High Density Cable Interconnect) these connectors meet EIA and SFF standards and will displace SCSI 2 & 3 architecture in new applications -- Four 68 position .8mm connectors will fit in a single PC option slot that presently can accommodate only one SCSI 3 connector.

Features of this connector system include:

  • EMI Shielding
  • Blade on Beam Contacts
  • IDC Termination
  • Low Profile 5.0mm Height off PCB
  • Contact Tips Recessed for ESD Protection
  • Squeeze to Release or Screw Lock Retention Systems
  • Cable Plug Accommodates 30-31 AWG Solid or Stranded Wire
